KCRW And KUSC Join iHeartRadio Digital Platform
More Top Public Radio Stations Now Available on iHeartRadio
New York, NY– January 20, 2012 – Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, the leading media company in America with a greater reach in the U.S. than any other radio or television outlet, announced today that KCRW, a Los Angeles-based public radio station with a worldwide fan base, and KUSC, one of the largest and most listened-to public radio stations in the country, will be available on iHeartRadio.
Beginning next month, KCRW and KUSC will stream on iHeartRadio, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment’s free, industry-leading digital radio service that offers more than 800 broadcast and digital-only radio stations from 150 cities plus the ability to create custom radio stations, delivering listeners everything they want all in one fully integrated service. iHeartRadio is available to consumers through the Web, mobile devices and automobiles and is the number one free broadcast radio app on the iPhone and Android.
