NEW YORK, N.Y. – June 10 – iHeartMedia celebrated new music this week with a World Premiere debut of BTS’ new single “Yet To Come” across iHeartRadio CHR stations on June 10; and hosted an iHeartCountry Takeover with Carrie Underwood for her brand-new album “Denim & Rhinestones” on its release date, June 10. Carrie Underwood took over our network of country stations for a full hour to play new music, past chart-topping hits, and share insights from both the making of the album and her upcoming tour.
Earlier this week, iHeartMedia announced the star-studded 2022 iHeartRadio Music Festival lineup, which is set to light up Las Vegas on Friday, Sept. 23 and Saturday, Sept. 24. The epic two-day lineup for the iHeartRadio Music Festival main stage will feature performances by Avril Lavigne, Black Eyed Peas, Halsey, Lionel Richie, LL COOL J feat. DJ Z-Trip, Luke Combs, Maren Morris, Megan Thee Stallion, Morgan Wallen, Nicki Minaj, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Sam Smith, The Black Keys and more.
Additionally, iHeart celebrated another successful iHeartRadio KIIS FM Wango Tango with incredible performances from Shawn Mendes, The Chainsmokers, Camila Cabello, Becky G, Charlie Puth, Lauv, 5 Seconds of Summer, Tate McRae, Latto, Lauren Spencer-Smith, GAYLE, Em Beihold and a special performance by Diplo at Dusk.
iHeartRadio’s YouTube Channel with host Emily Curl released interviews with several hit artists including Normani, AleXa, Måneskin and more about their music, career, and favorite fellow artists. In an iHeartRadio Exclusive Interview, singer Normani talked to Curl about her new album “Fair” and how she’d love to collaborate with Spanish singer Rosalia. The South Korean boy band CRAVITY took part in Curl’s “15 Firsts” series where they talked about the first time they heard their music on the radio and more “firsts.” Singer Jena Rose also took part in Curl’s “15 First” series, where she revealed the first song she ever performed for an audience. Also this week, Italian rock band Måneskin played a hilarious game of “Telestrations” with Curl, and “American Song Contest” winner AleXa revealed her “15 Firsts” with Curl as her winning song is being played at iHeartRadio stations across the country.
