Division Executive Vice President of Programming Team Will Work Closely With Recently Announced Division Presidents As Part of iHeartMedia’s New Operation Structure For Its Markets
New York, NY – February 10, 2016 – iHeartMedia, the leading media company in America with a greater reach in the U.S. than any other radio or television outlet, announced today that five of its senior programming executives have been named Division Executive Vice Presidents of Programming for the iHeartMedia National Programming Group, effective immediately. These executives – Andrew Jeffries, Steve Geofferies, Tony Coles, Thea Mitchem and Meg Stevens– were formerly iHeartMedia Senior Vice Presidents of Programming. They join current Division Executive Vice President of Programming Gene Romano and will report to Brad Hardin, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the iHeartMedia National Programming Group.
These promotions are part of iHeartMedia’s recently announced operation structure for its markets. The company, formerly organized into ‘Major’ and ‘Regional’ Market groups, is now comprised of four geographic Divisions, each led by a new Division President. The Divisions are strategically organized into 36 Regions that address the needs of both listeners and advertisers based on geography and are led by Region Presidents drawn from within the company’s seasoned leadership team.
Each member of the newly created Division Executive Vice President of Programming team will partner with a Division President to collaborate with each Region, providing national programming assets, services and resources. Jeffries and Geofferies will work with Greg Ashlock and the West Division; Coles will work with Matt Martin and the Central Division; Mitchem and Stevens will work with Hartley Adkins and the Northeast Division; and Romano will work with Tom McConnell and the Midwest/Southeast Division.
