NEW YORK – November 6, 2025 – iHeartMedia and Charlamagne Tha God’s The Black Effect Podcast Network today announced its expansion into the Kids & Family genre with “Adventures of Curiosity Cove,” an imaginative podcast series created and produced by Actress and Producer Tika Sumpter. Blending storytelling, curiosity and real - world lessons in social and emotional intelligence, “Adventures of Curiosity Cove” is a world filled with endless adventures and original stories through the eyes of “Ella the Curious.” Each episode will explore a new adventure, and children and parents alike will find Ella journeying into the mysteries of space, discover the power of being “the light,” and much more. The podcast was inspired by Sumpter’s book, “I Got It From My Mama,” a heartwarming story about Ella, a curious, full-of-life little girl who sees her mom as her biggest inspiration.

In addition to creating "Adventures of Curiosity Cove,” Sumpter is the founder of Yummy Tummy, a clean, multi-use skincare line designed to address the needs of mothers from pregnancy through postpartum and beyond. Up next is her ‘Sisters In Italy’ rom-com in partnership with Tyler Perry for Amazon MGM Studios. She co-wrote, co-produced, and stars in the film. The project marks Perry’s first directorial he did not write, and is inspired by the complexities that come with siblinghood and inspired by her personal experience as the youngest child in her family.
